APPLICATION AND USE
A. Dosing Procedure
Initially, use 200 gr of B.W.T. POWDER per ton of water. Thereafter, a regulated portion of a concentrated solution must be introduced daily or at least every 2 days, depending on the results of the relevant tests. For optimum results, consult the MARICHEM Ship’s Chemical Log Book for boiler water treatment on a daily basis. Always remember that the desired quantity of B.W.T. POWDER should be dissolved in 1:10 proportion with hot water before applying to the well hot tank. Note that the boiler water sample analyses must be conducted daily by using the MARICHEM ALKALINITY (or WT ALKA), PHOSPHATE (or WT PHOSP) and SULFITE (or WT SULFI) TEST KITS.
B. Feeding Procedure
Once the desired quantity of B.W.T. POWDER is determined, dissolve the powder as described above and feed the solution to the boiler’s water through the well hot tank by means of a metering pump or a more conventional method, such as a metallic container, plastic pail, etc.
